Heritage and culture belong to everyone. With the Àndalas de Cultura project, we constructed a pathway for Sardinia’s heritage from the past into the future, and transformed how people interact with it by opening it up to innovative new dimensions.

We worked closely with the Region of Sardinia to create the Àndalas Sardegna app, the Àndalas de Cultura (Culture Paths) platform, and the Àndalas game for kids, empowering connection with Sardinia’s rich culture through immersive experiences, and giving new digital life to its wealth of historical material.

AR: a new way to live culture

We developed our metasearch engine to provide access to national and local databases of archives, libraries, and museums, making them available in IIIF format. It’s accessible to everyone through the SardegnaCultura web portal.

This means easy viewing of thousands of digital objects in high quality, with zoom, rotation, photo editing, image comparison, and annotation functions, revolutionizing study and research.

We created a virtual world to introduce kids to Sardinia’s heritage through the joy of play.

Guided by Andy the mascot, they embark on a quest to become expert archaeologists, gathering collectibles, earning badges, and completing quizzes along the way.
